I didn’t put up my hair today
No slides or ribbons or bows,
I was hiding behind my fringe you see,
There’s a spot on the end of my nose.
Nobody talked to my eyes today
And probably nobody knows
But their eyes were all drawn inwards
To the spot on the end of my nose
My mood was very erratic today
High highs and then low lows
I’m sure most people tried not to smile
At the spot on the end of my nose
Still, people did smile at me today
Sometimes that’s just how it goes
I guess I do look a bit funny
With a spot on the end of my nose.
Hope the spot goes and the smiles return!!
We’ve all been there
Ha ha, it wasn’t as bad as it sounds, it just seemed like it.
Super cute. Hubby and I just went through a bad week of unwanted spots on our faces, this is a perfect reflection of our feelings that week.
It feels like the whole world is looking at them doesn’t it, where as in reality most people don’t even notice.
Did you write this?
Uh-huh, all mine.
There’s a link in the catergories dropdown list to my other poems if you’re up for a couple more.
I love it, thank you for writing it and sharing it!
