I’m going to a wedding in July at a music festival, the bride is wearing her wedding dress and “weddingtons” and the guests are wearing maxi dresses and wellingtons. So here’s my purchase “fodder wedding”. And, as an added bonus, they go very nicely with my orange umbrella.

My maxidress is just black and white, but Eldest daughter has an orange cardigan I can borrow too, since July is in the middle of “British summertime” I’ll probably need a cardi too.
