I was quite taken with these railings on my very first visit to Southampton as an actual visitor and not a passer though. Normally I’m drawn to geometric designs with straight lines and angles but they definitely left an impression on my memory. They were to be found in Central Parks near the library.
It was just a fleeting visit on that occasion we were parked a short distance away and were heading to the library to use the “little girls room”. On a later visit I went in search of the pretty railings again and found them hiding from the bright sunshine under a variety of leafy trees.
More from before: Off the beaten track in “Southampton“.
