Saturday afternoon we got pretty soggy in and out of the shops but I did manage to take a few photos.
The dad was oblivious to his daughter’s struggles with her misbehaving umbrella, although from the look of his brolly he’d already fought a few battles of his own …
I felt so sorry for these poor boat-trippers as they provided me with a brolly picture.
Pretty pavements again, this time with raindrops in a puddle …
And from the shelter of a doorway to a nice dry Irish pub with a roaring coal fire and a very welcoming evening meal, I snapped these …
More from before: pictures from my holiday in “Brugge” in July 2011.
Ahh – just like home 🙂
😀
Umbrellas can be mischievous little things, can’t they? Love all the bright colors contrasting with the gray day.
I have a large orange umbrella, when I put it up it’s like taking my own sunshine out into the rain 🙂
I love the ‘Union Jacks’ photo… not a great ad for things made in the UK though… 😉
I shouldn’t have laughed quite so much as I did … where her the mum when she needed help !
Some great rainy day photos! I can’t imagine taking the carriage tour in the rain, you wouldn’t be able to see out of the plastic ‘windows’ very well.
I couldn’t understand that reasoning with the boat tip either, I’m so glad we had our one very sunny day for the touristy bits, we wandered around in showers and drizzle on the other days but the boat and a carriage tour would have been so disappointing.

love the boat image with all the umbrellas!
Thanks, quite a contrast to our trip the day before, I hope they managed to see more than I imagine they did.
