Snow play

The snow made it too cold for the little children to play in the play area on Friday, so it was just the big children out to play, with their cameras …

  1. You really are playing with that little red camera now and getting most proficient with it. Were you the only one out that day? Only one set of footprints in the snow in each of the pictures. 😀

    • It was very cold, the snow was turning crunchy underfoot, it’s no surprise that I was the only one about. It was fun having the run of the play area to myself though.

  2. It looks like you had a bit more snow than us – we had a light covering and it only remains in cold shady spots.

I like the contrast of the snow with those vibrant playground colours. The swing image is my fave – it looks great!

    • Thanks, it was the bright colours which called me into the play area in the first place.
Lots of the snow was melted by Friday evening but now what’s left if solid ice – not good.

    • Ah, this park was next to a little nursery and it was only about 9 o’clock. The little people were being ushered straight into the warm building. I didn’t stay too long because I was getting dissaproving looks for playing with the camera so close to the nursery. (understandable, but quite sad really).

    • I think it’s because we were conditioned as little kids that playgrounds and snow were fun, and as big kids, we never grew out of it. 😀
      Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
