Yarn bombed

Remember “Thrupp” ?  Remember the houses alongside the canal near The Boat Inn ?  They were in Canal Road, and on one of the days we visited, Canal Road had been yarn bombed …

I’m sooo tempted to knit a jumper for the bus stop outside of my house.

  1. Yarn bombed????? The world takes another surreal lurch … but if I’m to be honest, I think you definitely should knit the bus stop jumper … it somehow … just has to be …. 🙂 ….

    • I have a few things on the go at the moment, but… I will have a pile of leftover yarn begging to be used up when they’re all finished. Don’t hold your breath, but definitely watch this space. 😀

  2. What excitement – a jumper for the bus stop. I wonder how my neighbours would react. But hey, there’s no danger of my knitting a jumper for a bus stop (or anything or anyone else). I just can’t knit. 🙂

    • You don’t have to knit, you can just fix the yarn together in any fashion you can – crochet, plaiting, or just tying with lots of knots, go on, have a go. I’d love to know what the neighbours think. 🙂

  3. This was recently on Neighbours, didn’t realise it had actually happened anywhere in reality! Awesome, if you knit that bus stop jumper please alert me to it’s whereabouts so I too can snap an image or two & marvel in your knitting talent! Fabulous idea xXx

    • Ha ha, I haven’t watched Neighbours in years, I can just imagine the street yarn bombed though. Type yarn bomb into google images and see what you come up with … loads of smiles. 🙂
