  1. Great stuff, love hen parties >>> not that I’ve ever been to one, mind, but its the concept isn’t it >>> love the pics and the poem >>> “The time has come, the Walrus said,” – just wonderful, just wonderful! A 😀

    • Thanks, Middle Daughter is by no means a party animal and her hen do was beautifully tailored to suit her by Eldest and Youngest Daughters, they did a wonderful job. 😀

    • Glad you liked my version of the Walrus and Carpenter song. 🙂
I hadn’t even considered that a hen party didn’t happen all over the world.
Have you heard of the Stag Night? A boys only night out for the groom, organised by the Best Man, before the groom ties the knot to his intended. Though thinking about some of the antics got up to by the male of the species on a night out, I shouldn’t really be surprised if this were just a British tradition.
As years have passed and tradition evolved, a female version of the Stag Night has sprung up, organised by the bridesmaids, where the Bride and her female friends and family spend an evening partying too. Usually all dressed in some sort of theme, ours was Alice in Wonderland. 🙂
