What we do best

I’m going all the way back to some “Liquid sunshine” in Brugge for this one last Jubilee post, a picture I took on holiday of three Brits, doing what we do best … battling on through all weathers.

2011-07. Brugge brollies.

Window warp

I was inspired today by a post by A J Vosse titled “Train Tales” and remembered my last train journey, which of course was on the way home from Brugge 🙂

We travelled home on one of the double-decker trains mentioned in one of my earlier posts ” On Route to Brugge“.  I showed a photo of the outside of the train, the upstairs windows curve as they merge into the top of the train.

On the way home, the lady across from us had  her lunch on the table, a can of Coca-cola Zero and an unknown delight in a paper bag labeled Misson.

This reflection was great fun as the sun caught the can as it curved around on the shaped window.

Pretty bits

I’ve still got loads of Brugge photos, and more than a few from our day in Brussels on the way home.  I’m sure you’ll see both places again and again in future posts but now, not wanting to leave you with any damp feelings from the Liquid Sunshine here are a few of the little pretty bits …
